With a combined playing experience of over one thousand years, Mosaic Mirrors is a big band for the modern era. With driving beats, sweeping horns, psyched-out synths, and Bowie-esque vocals, Mosaic Mirrors brings even the shyest wallflowers to the dance floor. Featuring a regular eight-member lineup, occasionally supplemented by backing vocalists and dancers, Mosaic Mirrors is known for its radio-ready hooks and hyper-party live performances.Founded by frontman, guitarist, writer, and singer Andrew Scandal, and drummer Ben Gworek, the band has expanded and currently includes Shaun Feeley on alto saxophone and musical director, Price Gillock on keys and flute, Andrew “Apes” Pieroni on percussion and vocals, Jimmy Coughlin on guitar and vocals, Pat Gaughan on bass, Griffin Barber on tenor sax, and Jaime Guyon and Michelle Lawlor on vocals.A hard-working band that plays shows regularly throughout eastern Massachusetts, Mosaic Mirrors were recently a featured finalist in the New England Music Awards Last Band Standing Competition and were nominated for Best Live Act by the New England Music Awards. The band released Live!, a five-song EP recorded at Boston’s Hard Rock Cafe in Summer 2022, and are releasing a studio EP in January 2023!
